From the sounds of Emmy's Twitter, it looks like Shameless is filming in Chicago! Here are her most recent tweets involving (we can assume) the television show!

I guess they're filming in 2 places, because the show's currently filming in Los Angeles now. They're looking for some actors for a few scenes.  |

The story is actually supposed to take place in Chicago, is that true? Even though it sounds like something is going on in L.A. as a poster said. One positive, I think anyway. Justin seems to have her on his Twitter, so that would mean, at least their situation is amicable. That would be nice. Not the rumors that things got nasty.

Yes, the show takes place in Chicago. I just meant it's currently filming in LA. Sorry for any confusion.
A little tidbit: They're going to be filming a club scene for the pilot on the 28th. That's the only specific scene I know that's filming at the moment.

Some new updates from twitter.com/WilliamHallMacy! I'm new to Twitter. I'll report in as we shoot. We started the shoot in Chicago. Now we are in LA on a soundstage. So far, I'm lovin it. SHAMELESS is based on a British series. Emmy Rossum and Justin Chatwin did an outrageous love scene last night. I do 3 scenes passed out. Ooh, outrageous love scene?  |

I've never watched the UK show this is based on, but they did show it on Aussie TV. Might have to hunt down some DVDs to get a feel for it. Heaven only knows if we'll get Emmy's version - I'll probably have to hunt that down on DVD too! I'm so glad William H Macy's involved - gives it some good 'heavyweight' status to get it picked up worldwide (hopefully!).  |

Not to sound naive, but, can they show those kinds of scenes on Showtime? The show probably isn't all like that. Maybe just a teaser?

I looked into it a little, and found this on wikipedia: "While cable channels that rely on advertising still do not show nudity during primetime hours, nudity is often shown on premium cable channels such as Showtime and HBO." |
