No, it's not just you, I seem to remember something about that, too! I think she told her mom she didn't want a car, she just wanted diamonds or something like that? And the diamonds were the earrings? I don't remember what the exact thing was, but I do remember it!

I FAINTLY remember something like this. Not really, though. The small car thing really does sound familiar.

I remember this too. Though I unfortunately don't know anymore where I read it. I think she said that her mother asked her if she wanted a car for her birthday and she replied no, she'd rather have Harry Winston Diamonds.

It was in a magazine. I think in the middle of the article was a picture of her from The Golden Globes (that white dress by Ralph Lauren). I don't know wich magazine and I know it was in emmyrossumfan.com gallery, I couldn't find it anywhere else... But because of the dress, it's maybe from a magazine from 2005 or 2006
